Maitland Your Say

What does Maitland need? What can we change? What is perfect just the way it is?

Our residents have told us they want more information, and more ways of telling us their ideas and thoughts. This page will provide information on our key projects, plans, initiatives and engagement activities and gives an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts.

We also have another online engagement website ‘Maitland Your Say‘ where you can participate in forums, surveys and keep up to date with the latest information. Join that conversation also by visiting www.maitlandyoursay.com.au

Unfortunately we cannot log Customer Service Requests on this page but you can log your request by calling 4934 9700.

This page is managed from 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday - Friday. Staff will respond to your questions and comments during those times.

FACEBOOK HOUSE RULES:
1. Always respect the views of other participants even if they don’t agree with you.
2. Always keep things civil. We recognise that this can be difficult sometimes, especially when you are passionate about an issue, but it is important to keep the discussion focused on the issues rather than letting it deteriorate into personal insults.
3. Don’t bully, harass or threaten other participants. If another participant proffers an opinion that you don’t agree with, you have no right to demand that they support their position with a detailed argument. They do not have to respond to your questions. It is up to each individual to participate in the forum as much or as little as they wish.
4. Don't be obscene and don’t use foul language. Lots of people from different backgrounds participate in these forums. We want them to be able to continue to do so from home, work, school, university or wherever they may be. Disguising swear words by deliberately misspelling them doesn’t make them any less offensive.
5. Don't personally insult or harass other participants. Always focus on the logic of the argument rather than the individuals involved in the argument. Users are entitled to choose not to enter into debate with you.
6. This is a spam free zone. So no repeat posts or unsolicited ads please.
7. Keep posts relevant to the page and thread.
8. Any posts considered to be potentially defamatory or inappropriately targeting individuals will be removed.

We welcome your feedback, both positive and negative, and will endeavour to respond to your comments when required.
While we support lively, open discussion, we reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion.
